Granada’s visit also bodes well, as ‘Los Che’ have won the last three top-flight H2Hs they’ve hosted.

On the other hand, Granada’s embarrassing La Liga return continued with a goal-glutted 3-2 home defeat to Villarreal earlier this week, condemning Paco Lopez’s side to a tenth winless top-flight fixure in 11 (D3, L7). Stuck in the drop zone, albeit only three points adrift of safety, the ‘Nazaries’ cannot be enthusiastic about leaving their home, knowing they’ve lost four out of five away league games this season (D1). Granada’s defensive woes are too grave to be overlooked, with the visitors conceding an alarming average of 2.8 goals across their first five La Liga travels this term. It only gets worse for the traveling fans as Granada’s winless all-time away H2H record against Valencia (D3, L27) hardly makes for good reading.
