Speaking of a lack of consistency, after stringing together four home wins between September and October, the ‘Swans’ have managed just one triumph in their last four matches on home turf (D1, L2). High scoring has been a common theme during that sequence, with three of those four games producing over 2.5 goals.

Meanwhile, Bristol City scored precisely twice on either side of halftime to romp Birmingham City 4-2 at home last weekend, ending a frustrating run of five winless matches in domestic action (D3, L2). However, they have failed to keep a clean sheet in all three games since the calendar year flipped to 2023 (W1, D2), conceding within the opening 15 minutes of play twice in that stretch. Despite going unbeaten in their last four away fixtures, three of them have finished level (W1), casting doubt on Bristol’s capacity to turn around their recent fortunes at Swansea. They have lost two of their last three visits to the Wales-based outfit (W1), with two of those three H2Hs yielding an identical 3-1 scoreline.
