PSG will be looking to put a heartbreaking Champions League elimination firmly behind when they take on Ligue 1 basement boys Bordeaux at the Parc des Princes.

Despite losing 1-0 away to Nice last time out, ‘Les Parisiens’ are seemingly waltzing away with their fourth league triumph in five years as they sit 12 points clear at the top of the Ligue 1 table. PSG have been nothing short of outstanding at home this season, having won all but one of their 13 league fixtures at the Parc des Princes so far (D1), including each of the last five in a row. As much as eight of those 12 home league victories have yielded a winning margin of 2+ goals, highlighting the potential for another clear-cut win.

In the meantime, Bordeaux face an uphill task to avoid relegation after accruing a league joint-low four wins this Ligue 1 season (D10, L13). What’s more, before holding Clermont to a 1-1 draw in their most recent Ligue 1 road trip, Bordeaux had lost three consecutive away league games by an aggregate score of 14-2, casting further doubt on their hopes of staging an upset here. Such ambitions encounter another massive roadblock as the visitors have won none of their last 13 top-flight meetings with PSG (D4, L9), including a ‘goal-friendly’ 3-2 defeat in the reverse fixture back in November.
