Everton vs Arsenal

More importantly, three of those five meetings saw Everton keep a clean sheet, including a 1-0 win on Dyche’s touchline debut in January.

On the other hand, Arsenal went into the international break in high spirits after beating fierce rivals Manchester United 3-1 at home in the most dramatic circumstances. They thought they had lost the game when Alejandro Garnacho broke the deadlock on the stroke of the 90th minute before VAR disallowed it for offside and let the ‘Gunners’ net twice in stoppage time to maintain an almost-perfect Premier League start (W3, D1). Mikel Arteta’s team finished last season as the best traveling side in England’s top flight with 39 points, with a 1-0 win at Crystal Palace on their only league travel this term showing their tendency to pick up points on the road will likely continue this year. But with their last win at Goodison dating back to 2017, they cannot take anything for granted.
