But caretaker manager Michail Carrick, who led Manchester United to a 2-0 Champions League win over Villarreal in midweek, will be tasked with halting his side’s two-game losing Premier League streak this weekend. Despite these uncertain times for the ‘Red Devils,’ there’s a good omen here, with United going unbeaten in their last 11 top-flight visits to London (W7, D4). Having won their previous three Premier League games in the capital, Man United could make it four victories in a row in such match-ups for the first time since November 2005. However, they have suffered five defeats in their last seven Premier League fixtures (W1, D1), as many as they had in their previous 42 in the competition.
